My passion for medicine started when I was only five years old when I decided I was going to be a doctor. Of course every little girl has a dream, but since that day I have worked to make that dream a reality. My passion for Women’s Health started in High School when I volunteered at a Community Hospital and continued and blossomed in College as a medical assistant in our Campus clinic. I am an advocate for Women’s Health and a proponent of Preventative Medicine.
As a woman, I am especially attuned to the need for patience, caring and gentleness. As an OB/GYN I am able to assist and guide you through some of the most important and challenging moments of your life. Whether it is the first time you are walking into the Gynecologists’ office or adjusting to all of the changes in your body during pregnancy. The maintenance and prevention of disease or deciding between surgical versus medical management can also be difficult. Coping with menopause or discussing some of the most private issues, I am right there with you. One of my greatest privileges is to deliver a child into the world safely and to make it as enjoyable as possible. I also understand the unique challenges each women faces throughout her lifetime.
